Healing the Authenticity Gap
When your public life and private struggles don't align.
The distance between who we appear to be and who we actually are is exhausting to maintain. Wholeness is the slow closing of that gap — in safe community, before a kind God.
The Cost of the Gap#
The distance between who we appear to be and who we actually are is exhausting to maintain. It isolates us inside our own life and makes love feel conditional even when it is not.
Wholeness is the slow closing of that gap.
Confession in Safe Community#
James 5 ties confession to healing on purpose. We were not designed to carry the weight of our private struggles alone. Find one or two safe people — and tell the truth.
Safe people do not flinch, do not gossip, do not shame, and do not rush you. They exist. Pray for them. Become one.
Grace in the Light#
What lives in secret grows stronger. What is brought into the light loses its grip. The God who already sees the whole of you is inviting you into a life where you no longer have to perform for love.
