Encountering God as Father

Finding healing through God's love and acceptance.

We do not heal the father wound by trying harder to trust. We heal it by encounter — by letting the true Father reintroduce Himself to the places that learned to flinch.

Healed by Encounter#

We do not heal the father wound by trying harder to trust. We heal it by encounter — by letting the true Father reintroduce Himself to the places that learned to flinch.

Information about God is not the same as experience of God. Both matter. Healing requires both.

Who He Says He Is#

He is the Father who runs toward the returning child. He is the Father who delights, who defends, who provides, who stays. He is the Father whose love does not increase when you perform or decrease when you fall.

He is not your father with the volume turned up. He is the original your father was meant to point to.

Receiving What He Gives#

Slow down in His presence. Let Him say your name. Let Him tell you what He sees. Receive — do not just observe.

The Spirit of adoption is in you. He teaches you to cry, 'Abba.' That is healing.

scripture highlights

"You received the Spirit of sonship. And by him we cry, 'Abba, Father.'"
