Deliverance Preparation Guide
How to prepare your heart for a deliverance session.
Deliverance is sacred work. This guide helps you come prepared — surrendered, repentant, and ready to receive.
Why Preparation Matters#
Deliverance is sacred work. It is not theatrical. Coming prepared — surrendered, repentant, and ready to receive — makes space for the Spirit to move freely.
Heart Preparation#
Spend time in worship and Scripture in the days leading up. Soften. Quiet the noise. Invite the Holy Spirit to surface anything He wants to address.
Repentance Checklist#
Sin patterns I have justified. Agreements I have made under pressure. Occult or spiritual practices I participated in. Bitterness I have nursed. Words spoken against myself or others. Bring each one honestly.
Renunciation#
Be ready to renounce — out loud — agreements, vows, generational patterns, and anything that does not belong. Specificity is part of the authority you carry in Christ.
After the Session#
Rest. Worship. Stay in Scripture. Surround yourself with safe community. Empty rooms get refilled — fill yours with His presence.
A prayer to close
Lord, I come surrendered. Show me what to release. Fill every space with Your Spirit. Amen.
